When the fryer breaks down at rush hour

So, yesterday during peak lunch hours, the fryer caught fire. I thought it was the end of the world. Customers were lined up, and we had to explain why their fries were reincarnating as smoked potato chips. Definitely the most chaotic 30 minutes of my life! Anyone else got fryer horror stories?

I’ve had my share of fryer chaos, too. When mine went down, I quickly pivoted to offering baked options and gave away free desserts as a distraction — customers ended up appreciating it! Ever thought of a backup menu for those ‘emergency’ moments?
